Head of Commercial Marketing (Biomass + Electric)
About the role
BURN is seeking a Head of
Commercial Marketing to lead our marketing strategy and execution at Field
Marketing. This role will be responsible for designing and localizing marketing
launch plans for new products and markets, ensuring the successful commercialization
of our portfolio as we expand geographically and grow our product suite.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, refine, and execute a comprehensive marketing and
positioning strategy tailored for BURN’s portfolio, considering customer
segments and market trends.
- Develop and implement customer acquisition strategies,
working closely with Product and Market research teams to refine & and
highlight USPs of BURN’s suite of products.
- Working closely with in-country marketing leads, localize
global marketing strategies, content, and channels, and drive their
successful rollout.
- Own BURN’s trade marketing, managing profitable point of
sales activations and shopper marketing activities in each of BURN’s
target markets.
- Build and strengthen the BURN brand, ensuring it resonates
with our target audiences, driving brand knowledge and increasing demand.
- Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of
marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly. Report on marketing
performance to senior leadership to demonstrate ROI and identify areas for
improvement.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience and track record at the Senior Marketing
Manager level in Brand Building.
- Demonstrated success designing marketing mixes and
implementing strategies across urban and rural areas. Multi-national
experience preferred.
- Proven experience in marketing leadership roles with 5-7+
years of experience in mass market retail and or FMCG.
- Fully operational capability in channel marketing, trade
category management, trade marketing, or customer marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field;
master’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics and data-driven
decision-making.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal
skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative
marketing strategies.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to handle
multiple tasks and deadlines.
