Duties and responsibilities.
- Supervision of construction, rehabilitation and maintenance of
classified and unclassified roads.
- Design of small span drainage structures.
- Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to
time.
Qualifications
Academic Qualifications.
- Be in possession of a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or
its equivalent and relevant qualifications from a recognized institution.
Professional qualifications
- Be registered by engineer registration board of Kenya as a
graduate engineer.
- Previous qualifications / membership to professional bodies
- Served in the grade of assistant engineer III [ roads/
materials] or comparable and relevant position in the public service for
at least [3] years
Functional skills
- Leadership skills
- Communication skills
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to build and lead cohesive teams
- Problem solving skills
- Meet the requirements of chapter six of the constitution of
Kenya
- Interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills
